Behavior Expectations:

  1. Respect: Treat all participants, speakers, and staff with respect and consideration, valuing a diversity of views and opinions.
  2. Harassment-Free Environment: Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind is not tolerated. This includes offensive verbal comments, deliberate intimidation, stalking, unwelcome photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
  3. Professional Conduct: All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience, including people of many different backgrounds. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks.
  4. Compliance with Rules: Follow all applicable laws and conference rules.

Reporting Incidents: If you experience or witness any form of harassment or behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please contact conference staff immediately. You can report incidents in person to designated staff or through the provided contact information.

Consequences: Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund.

Commitment: By attending SquadCon, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct and understand that violating these rules may result in being expelled from the conference.
